- No, you don't HAVE to have a picture, but atleast try to find someone that resembles your player. If you're creating a Splicer, for example, just find a picture of someone, post it, and say "this is what they looked like before".
- I'm not going to be holding auditions, but I AM going to post a list of "canon characters", or ones that I deem playable. No, Jack will not be there, because I think this can be more interesting without him. But maybe later on....?
- If you don't know what a type of character looks like, google it, 'they' have tons of examples.
- Little Sisters, and Big Daddies cannot have plasmids
- Any other character can have THREE plasmids
- Splicers aren't required to give a personality, because they are all pretty much the same. But they really do make the game interesting to have an odd splicer here and there *winkwinknudgenudge*. Oh, but the Likes and Dislike are still needed.
- Most splicers wear Masquerade Ball masks.
- There are many different types of Splicers ((yes, I'll list weaknesses I know, but please don't take advantage of this IN THE RP. Let your character figure it out themselves!))
--Thuggish Splicer
----These splicers are relatively weak, but can run very fast and attack in groups. Their attacks are commonly with blunt weapons
--Leadhead Splicer
----These splicers attack from a distance with either a pistol or a machine gun. While easily taken down while they are alone, they can become quite troublesome when in a group.
--Spider Splicer
---These are probably one of the most agile type of Splicer out there! They can walk on the ceiling and will throw things like...oh I don't know, hooks? At you from a distance. If caught on the ground, they'll get close and attack before jumping away by a back flip, or going back to the ceiling. Because of this and their speed, they're quite hard to beat -- they also have good pain tolerance. To get it done quickly, they need a head shot or winter blast plasmid.
--Houdini Splicer
---These once can teleport, as-in, that's one of their two/three plasmids. They tend to use fire and ice, but that's not required. At close range, like the Leadhead, they will attack physically. When they disappear or reappear, they do so in a cloud of smoke. They tend towards a hit and run strategy.
--Nitro Splicers
---These are probably the rarest splicer. They use grenades are their primary weapon -- at a distance of course. Well, not always. Some of them can be quite the kamikaze. They do tend to distract you or "play dead" so they can escape. A common way of defeating them is by using Telekinesis to return their grenades to them. When killed, they always seem to have time to open just ONE more -- so you might want to take off once they're dead. - Okay, so you don't have to be a splicer to have a plasmid. HOWEVER, as a human, you have two choices concerning Little Sisters. You can either harvest them and receive more ADAM (160), or save them and get less ADAM (80). But, by saving them, you may just feel a little better about yourself. To do that, however, you would need to escort the little one to a Hidey Hole back to Tenenbaum -- which can be found all over Rapture. Notify an administrator when you do either actions, so we can put some more ADAM into your account. Oh, and make sure it's okay with the little sister first!
- If you are a Little Sister, you can either rp your own Big Daddy or get someone else to rp them for you (which is much more fun). If you want to have someone else play it for you but don't have someone when you make your charrie, that's fine -- you can still rp while you ask around! But you CANNOT have a Little Sister without a Big Daddy unless they have been "rescued", in which case they are just a little girl. Of course, they would most likely be killed unless under someone's protection.
- Big Daddies do not have to have a personality, but they do need to have likes and dislikes. Big Daddies don't have to have a Little Sister when created, but note that if two do come across one another, the Big Daddy WILL adopt the Little Sister if she doesn't already have a Big Daddy. Oh, and she'll call him Mr. Bubbles. Not kidding.
- So there are TWO types of Big Daddies. But remember, every Big Daddy shows their emotions through their light colors. Green is friendly, yellow is wary, but not particularly interested, and red is for hostility.
--Bouncers
---Just liked Rosies, Bouncers are dressed in a heavy diving suit -- including a high-gauge metal carapace that covers the whole torso. The head protrudes directly forward, situated at the upper chest area. They have a circle-liked helmet that has eight lit portholes. Their weapon is a conical drill that replaces the lower right arm.
--Rosies
---Everything from the neck down is exactly the same as the Bouncers. The head, however, is more humanly. The head is kept safe by a diving helmet that is connected to the carapace. They are more distant attackers. They have rivet guns and proximity mines.

Plasmid ---> Plasmids are special serums made from processed ADAM that introduce special stem cells into the body, allowing for genetic modification and real time mutation, giving the user what some might call "super powers". Plasmids are powerful, but excessive use of them leads to physical and mental addiction, as well as insanity. This helped to bring about the downfall of Rapture. (definition from Bioshock Wiki)
Below are a list of Plasmids you CAN have, the others you must purchase, this is to keep from overly powerful characters. =)
The definitions of these plasmids were taken from Bioshock Wiki! ^_^
- Cyclone Trap
--Spawns a mini-tornado which flings any opponent who steps on it into the air.
To use it, you must set the cyclone -- as in, put it over a certain place (an area of about two feet)-- and wait. Problem is, the cyclone disappears at seven minutes. - Electro Bolt
--Sends a jolt of electricity to electrocute an opponent -- or even unlock a door. - Incinerate
--Sets an opponent on fire - Security Bullseye
--Causes all security devices in the area to attack the target - Sonic Boom
--Creates a powerful burst of air in front of the user, knocking back any enemy or object caught in the blast as well as dealing them damage. - Target Dummy
--Spawns a ghost of ones self. - Telekinesis
--Pulls the targeted object towards the user and allows them to throw it forward, dealing physical damage to anything it hits. - Winter Blast
--Temporarily freezes the target, allowing them to be shattered by using another weapon -- or just a good kick. - Aero Dash
--Grants the user a temporary speed boost (45 seconds), possibly knocking down another opponent.
You can, of course, create your own plasmid, but don't get offended if we turn it down. Who knows? If it's good enough we may even add it to the list! And don't be afraid to get creative with the names!
